On Saturday,  August 29,  thousands retraced the steps and route taken during the 1970 anti-war/civil rights Chicano Moratorium in East Los Angeles.  With COVID-19 still on the rise, those who marched wore masks while  others socially distanced by participating in miles long car caravans driving along Whittier Blvd. to Ruben Salazar Park.
