Increasing Safety at Pacoima Housing Project

San Fernando Gardens in Pacoima, the only public housing project in the San Fernando Valley, will receive a boost in protection with the addition of 10 LAPD officers and one supervisor. San Fernando Gardens, which houses 1,500 residents, is the ninth housing project to be part of the Community Safety Partnership Program — established in 2011 and funded by the LAPD —  to foster relationships with local  residents and law enforcement.
