Weekly Update of Valley Area COVID-19 Cases

Health Department officials have listed the latest number of confirmed novel COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles county at 719,833 (as of Dec. 27).
A breakdown of cases in Valley area cities and communities:

- Chatsworth: 2,053
- Encino: 1,937
- Granada Hills: 3,657
- Lake Balboa: 3,093
- Lake View Terrace: 1,395
- Mission Hills: 2,552
- North Hills: 5,436
- North Hollywood: 11,775
- Northridge: 4,151
- Pacoima: 10,400
- Panorama City: 8,059
- Porter Ranch: 1,349
- Reseda: 6,648
- Reseda Ranch: 358
- San Fernando: 2,950
- Shadow Hills: 217
- Sherman Oaks: 3,175
- Studio City: 789
- Sunland: 1,265
- Sun Valley: 5,272
- Sylmar: 9,329
- Tarzana: 1,868
- Toluca Lake: 284
- Tujunga: 1,436
- Valley Glen: 2,199
- Valley Village: 1,190

State health officials have confirmed 43,464 cases of COVID-19.
According to other state data, Latinos are the largest ethnic group affected with 12,465 cases, followed by whites (7,885), Asians (3,508) and African Americans (1,871).
