|Santa Rosa Catholic School Sets Up Fund|

Details for the fund set up through Santa Rosa/ Bishop Alemany Catholic School in San Fernando to help pay for the funeral services for the Estrada family have been arranged.
The family of four lost their lives in a tragic fire in a barn that was converted into living space. The family recently moved into the home six weeks ago that investigators now indicate had code violations and did not have smoke detectors.
An attorney representing the landlord disputed that claim, Those who wish to contribute can make checks out to Santa Rosa Bishop Alemany, and note Estrada/Jimenez Family Fund on the check(Estrada is the father's name and Jimenez is the mother's maiden name), and mail checks to: Santa Rosa Bishop Alemany Estrada/Jimenez Family Fund 1316 Griffith St. San Fernando, CA 91340 Monica Valencia, a spokeswoman for the L.A. Archdioses said the family has a long history of involvement with the church and school community.
"They have long been part of the school family here. Maria, the Mom, and her siblings attended elementary school at Santa Rosa. Both she and Uriel, the father, have been active in their children's education, volunteering at school events. The children Isabel, in 7th grade, and Alejandro, in 2nd grade, have attended school here since Kindergarten.
This is such a loss for the school family."
Valencia said the school currently has five counselors on site and Fr. Juan Gaspar led a morning prayer service for students parents and school staff. Funeral services are still pending.
