PACOIMA (CNS) — Authorities are searching for a gunman who carjacked a man and his young daughter outside a library in Pacoima and then forced the father to withdraw money from an ATM before releasing the pair.

No injuries were reported in the crime, which Monday, March 4 at approximately 3 p.m., said Officer Wendy Reyes of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations office. “They were forced into their (own) vehicle, and were taken to an ATM,” Reyes said.

“They were later released, and the vehicle was found abandoned.” LAPD Sgt.
