Two elderly pedestrians were killed Wednesday, June 25, after being struck by a passing vehicle at the corner of Truman and Workman boulevards in San Fernando.
SFPD Det. Lt. Tony Vario said the woman, 68, died at the scene. A man, aged 78, was transported to a hospital and was later pronounced dead. Vario would not release the victim’s names pending notification of relatives. The driver, who Vario described as a male in his 20s, remained at the accident scene and cooperated with police. No further details were available at press time.
