Artist rendering of suspect ARLETA (CNS) - Authorities have released a composite sketch of a man wanted for allegedly exposing himself to a 12-year-old girl while she walked in a parking lot in Arleta. The suspect was riding a black mo-ped about 4:20 p.m. Aug. 31 near the 14400 block of Van Nuys Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. "The man rode up on the mo-ped and called out to the girl, then exposed himself," the LAPD said in a statement. "He rode away a brief distance, and walked into a nearby liquor store." The girl told her mother what happened, and the woman went to the liquor store and confronted the man when he left the business, but he got away, police said. There was no security video. The man was described as Hispanic, about 45- 55 years of age, of medium height and build, with gray hair. He wore a helmet, along with a tank top and blue jeans. Anyone with more information on the case was urged to call LAPD Mission Station detectives, (818) 838-9975; or Crimestoppers, (800) 222-TIPS.
