Officers from the LAPD and CHP, Sheriff's deputies, and others will join California State University, Northridge police officers today, Dec. 20, in a multiagency exercise designed to test their coordinated response to a shooting on campus.

CSUN police Chief Anne P. Glavin, along with CSUN President Dr. Dianne Harrison and other law enforcement command staff, will be on hand to observe the "active shooter" drill and evaluate how well the various agencies work together, and determine what they can do to improve their response.

The drill is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the campus' Jeanne Chisholm Hall/National Center on Deafness.

This is the fifth time Cal State Northridge police have coordinated a multi-agency training exercise.
