ORDINANCE NO. 1633 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING DIVISION 3 (INDUSTRIAL FEES) OF ARTICLE II (SEWERS AND SEWAGE DISPOSAL) OF CHAPTER 94 (UTILITIES) OF THE SAN FERNANDO CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATING TO INDUSTRIAL WASTE FEES

The purpose of the ordinance is to amend Division 3 (Industrial Fees) of Article II (Sewers and Sewage Disposal) of Chapter 94 (Utilities) of the San Fernando City Code relating to Industrial Waste Fees. This amendment will allow Industrial Fees to be set by resolution of the City Council, where by fees are set based upon the County fees, plus the costs to the City in related staff services and thereby allowing the City to recover full costs to the City of using County services to ensure compliance with the Sanitation Districts’ industrial source control program.

This ordinance was introduced at the City Council meeting of July 7, 2014 and will have its second reading (adoption) at the meeting of July 21, 2014.

ORDINANCE NO. 1634 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN FERNANDO ADOPTING ZONE MAP AMENDMENT 2014-001, AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF SAN FERNANDO TO REZONE PORTIONS OF 1140-1148 SAN FERNANDO ROAD FROM THE TRUMAN/SAN FERNANDO DISTRICT AND MIXED-USE TRANSITION SUB-DISTRICT OF THE SP-4 (CORRIDORS SPECIFIC PLAN) ZONE TO THE DOWNTOWN DISTRICT AND SAN FERNANDO MALL DISTRICT OF THE SP-4 (CORRIDORS SPECIFIC PLAN) ZONE.

The purpose of the ordinance is to amend the City’s Zoning Map, which includes the “Existing City Districts and Land Use Sub-Districts” and “Existing Downtown Core District and Sub-District” maps (Exhibits “A” and “C”) of the San Fernando Corridors Specific Plan in order to allow portions of the two parcels that make up the Project site at 1140-1148 San Fernando Road that currently have a Truman/ San Fernando District, Mixed- Use Transition Sub-District zoning designation to be re-zoned to allow both parcels and therefore the entire Project site to have a Downtown District, San Fernando Mall Sub- District land use classification within the SP-4 (Corridors Specific Plan) zone;

This ordinance was introduced at a special City Council meeting of June 25, 2014 and was adopted at a regular City Council meeting of July 7, 2014 by the following vote:
