BURBANK (CNS) - Authorities Tuesday March 19, announced the arrests of six people in a gang-related stabbing attack on a woman in Burbank last month.

Juan Carlos Reyes, 19; Paul Pineda, 34; Ingrid Quintanilla, 20, and Christopher Castellanos, 18, all of Los Angeles, are charged along with Jesse Pineda, 21, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Michael Joseph Vaca, 15, whose hometown was not released.

The victim was attacked shortly after 2 a.m. Feb. 9 in the 200 block of North Griffith Park Drive. The Pacoima woman, whose name was withheld, remains hospitalized in critical condition at a local hospital, according to Burbank police.

Paul Pineda, Quintanilla and Castellanos were arrested March 1, while Reyes was taken into custody on Saturday. Jesse Pineda -- who was arrested in Las Vegas -- and Vaca are not listed in the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Inmate Information Center website.

Burbank police investigators, working with the Los Angeles Police Department, linked the same suspects to a shooting that occurred earlier in the LAPD's Rampart area, according to Burbank police.

The six are charged with two counts each of attempted murder and one count of conspiracy to commit murder, along with an allegation that the crimes were committed for the benefit of a criminal street gang.

Arraignment is scheduled Friday March 22, at the downtown Los Angeles courthouse.
